What is Excerpt?

Every month, Maggie and Rachel (hereafter referred to as “we at Excerpt”) construct a list of 27 books, films, and musical albums. We at Excerpt read, watch, and listen to the items on the list before the end of the month. Every day, or twice a day, or three times a day if an item is really juicy, we post examinations of whatever source is on the docket. We will always tell you what inspired a post. And sometimes there will be cool pictures. And alwaystimes there will be some serious intertextuality going on.
